A lot of AI tools treat sermon prep like every week starts from zero. Open a blank box. Paste a passage. Explain the theme. Remind it what kind of church you serve. Rebuild the tone. Correct the applications. Repeat the same theological guardrails you explained last week. Technically, the tool can help. Practically, the pastor is still carrying the continuity by hand. That is a problem because most pastors are not preaching disconnected talks. They are shepherding a congregation through a season. A sermon series has memory. It has momentum. It has things you have already said, tensions you are slowly developing, applications you are intentionally repeating, and people you are trying to care for over time.
