Aveiro, Portugal 🇵🇹, June 2026

Exactly a month ago, I was kayaking in Aveiro when I came across this quaint little scene at one of our stops. In a way, it felt like the start of summer: the first truly warm days, this improvised little “beach”… Now, with Portugal sweltering through a heatwave and myself covered in sweat, it’s hard to believe how quickly we’ve gone from welcoming the season to being right in the heart of it.
