But plenty of days go by where I don’t write write. I’d really like to turn that around. Here are some ideas that might help. All of them pay you to form the habit, and one even uses regular currency to do so! The others pay you by adding incremental strength and agility to your writing muscles. Morning Pages - Set a timer and write whatever comes to mind until you hear the beep. Attach this habit to whatever you normally want to do first thing in the morning, but do this one first. Timer recommendations: TimeTimer and Liquid Timer. Koala Quill - Get paid a dollar to write for 15 minutes every day. “Stop abandoning your drafts.
