Annual festival and nature ramble 0 ▲ Cotswold Diary 1 day ago · Life · hide · 0 comments The annual summer festival in Dursley today, so I headed down around 11am to check out what was happening. It was a very warm day, so shading cap necessary as I’d be out in the sun pretty much all day. I arrived half way through the set of the Rednock Swing band. I’ve not seen them before and were really excellent. I’ll have to make a note to see one of their concerts next time they play. i took a slow walk up and down Parsonage Street to take a look at the stalls and also catch up with many people who I know. An event like this is always guaranteed to bring everyone out. Festival stalls in parsonage street I bumped into Richard and we ended up having a long conversation about community, politics and AI. So we decided to head over to the methodist hall for lunch and continue the conversation there. By the time we’d finished it was 2pm and time to find Leah to get ready for the Shop Local prize draw.
