on balancing hobbies

for those who dont know, july is when artfight happensits basically like a little web game where you draw other peoplescharacters for points for your own teamand i admittedly get very invested in making drawings for it(25 drawings down in the 5 days its been running so far)af is a more extreme example of something i always strugged with though, andthats trying to have multiple hobbies going at oncelike its tricky to "balance" doing multiple projects and i end upfixating on one for a few weeks then being bored until i find a newthing to doill be honest this post is mostly just to keep this blog from dyingand i have very few other ideasthe scales are extremely heavily stacked against it, sinceits like a new thing i have barely donein a new field where a lot of people already know each otherand have a ton of momentum and better ideasbut i still do want to persist andat least TRY not to let another hobby lose momentumand get crushed under my own self doubtidk
