Weeknotes 2026-07-05 Personal Writing

It is July! Domink Schwind recently wrote "Too Personal", mainly in response to how a friend told him "that week notes aren’t for him as they are too personal." This got me thinking about my own writing on this blog as well. I have always stated that the blog is largely written for me so naturally it can be a bit personal, but I do admit that sometimes I write a bit too much about personal/family/medical matters and when that happens it's because I feel an urge to have more "meat" in the weeknotes so to speak because otherwise it makes it seem like my week was empty or boring or whatnot. Which is a silly thought to have if my primary audience is future me! So from now on, I think I'll try not to force myself to write too much about more personal topics. I do write about them in detail in more private journalling anyway, so I still have records if needed.
