I set off last Friday and returned the Friday after, during which time I attended an IndieWebCamp, an in-person Homebrew Website Club at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg, and spent many hours exploring museums, coffee shops, and, of course, eating delicious ice cream and gelato (why does Nürnberg have so many gelato shops?).My trip was anchored around the IndieWeb events. The IndieWebCamp was hosted on Saturday and Sunday, which coincided with the hottest days of the heatwave. This meant I was able to stay inside and (relatively) cool for both of those days. This suited me well: I didn’t want to be out too long in the sun in ~40C temperatures.Museum explorationsOn the days after the event, I, along with friends, visited the Germanisches Museum, the Neues Museum, the Futures Museum, the Deutsche Bahn Museum, and more.
