Backrooms (2026)

Having just watched Backrooms (2026), here are some of my thoughts. There may be spoilers, so you've been warned! The thing that stands out the most is atmosphere — nightmarish, 90s setting, bewildering, corporate (?) The film really made use of the drone of fluorescent lights to create a deep sense of unease The soundtrack also really suits the menacing air that thickens as the film progresses If you want closure, this is not the film for you
