The Caribou Current rose triumphantly from the ashes of the Boulder Weekly in 2026. A heartening development! The Weekly was a great alt-weekly that was only held back by a true dork of a publisher. I should know! I spent a few years in the trenches there as a staff writer, a dream job that became something of a nightmare eventually. But the Caribou is taking what was good at the Weekly and leaving behind the bad vibes.
