Day 140: The Microscope Camera

2026-06-26Hello!I borrowed a friend's camera to test the "microscope mode" on this leaf. It worked out better than I expected; I can see the individual dots on the leaf, and capture the small raindrops.While on my rainy photowalk continued from yesterday, I walked into the woods to see what interesting leaves, vines, or flowers I could capture up close. I neglected to bring the right shoes, so the muddy trail was oh so slippery (and dirty!).I seem to be dipping my toes in all genres of photography. From being a published photographer in New York City to capturing sports and events at high schools, I'm also just taking a camera with me on a walk.The photos that I take home after a simple photowalk are never featured wallpaper images on their own, but they work better as a series.
