Bird of the day: the Rufa Red Knot

I don’t remember when this started, but I like sharing featured photos on Wikipedia when they feature a cute bird. Today we have this photo of the Rufa Red Knot, taken by Chuck Homler: The Red Knot is a medium-sized shorebird in the sandpiper family, which to me always sounded like a musical instrument.
