And Humidity….. Red Heatwave – Indoor temperatures 4pm: 29C upstairs (Landing) A visit from SG. JG Birthday. Small Breeds and Giant Icecreams. Shropshire Stiperstones. Up to Northumberland. We were both up 6am-ish on Tuesday, enjoying the early morning cool. I sat outside on the patio watching butterflies meander around the tall grasses and listening to birdsong. We had all the windows open to let the cooler air into the house. Everything is relative: 6.30 am and it’s already 22°C indoors. Put the gazebo up on the patio to try to shade the lounge. Morning, Merlin 10am-ish we retreated inside for admin. In the afternoon as the temperature headed up to 30°C I retreated upstairs to read and snooze while melting on the bed even with the fan on. Tea and flapjack, more reading and pottering, a KMCA Social Zoom then dinner with The Green Knight.
