I've been joining in the IndieWeb Movie Club carnival for a while now. This has enabled me to watch a wide range of movies that I would probably never have come across. For each month where I have participated, I have written up my review in my monthly summaries. For July 2026 edition of the IndieWeb Movie Club, I have chosen "Charlie Chaplin" as the topic. The goal is to watch a movie directed, starring or about Charlie Chaplin. Out of the artist's illustrious career, I have only seen two of his movies: The Great Dictator and The Kid. So, this month, I have chosen to watch a few more of his celebrated movies, including Modern Times, City Lights, The Gold Rush, and The Circus. There are plenty of movies you could choose from, many of which are available to stream online. Alternatively, could also watch the 1992 biographical movie Chaplin, directed by Richard Attenborough and starring Robert Downey Jr. as the titular character.
