June, as expected, has largely been spent in front of the telly, watching grown men chasing a colourful ball around, and that has had a slight effect on my reading. However, I’ve done my best to at least provide a minimal service on the blog, and I even managed to add another couple of chapters to my ever-expanding The Tale of Genji coverage (consider yourselves lucky that I’ve mainly been preferencing highlights over full replays). In addition, inspired by the North-American release of Jón Kalman Stefánsson’s The Heart of Man, I managed a reread of his famous trilogy, revisiting them for a very special post.
