Widow’s Bay (⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2)

A New England mayor prepares his small town for tourist scene as a long-rumored curse on the island begins to feel very, very real. Imagine a Stephen King novel starring Michael Scott, set on the island from Lost, featuring the monsters from Cabin in the Woods. That’s Widow’s Bay. The series balances comedy and horror elements without feeling campy. It delivers on mysteries and foreshadowing while still leaving unresolved issues for future seasons. I love it and I want more.
