Rituals (and missing them)

Humanity's finest work, perhaps. They make no sense. It's all about beauty, about made-up meaning, about art. I was reminded of it this morning. Usually FRIGGING ALWAYS when I come to the office I prepare myself a mate 🧉❤️ and start catching up on emails and looking at where I left things the day before. Not today. When working from home, after lunch I tend to prepare tea, if not black then something with a hint of bitterness (lately it's been a mix of green and blueberries from iN-TEA). Not yesterday. Because of the stupid teeth extraction, I cannot have hot drinks for a few days. Allegedly the first three days.
