In such a way do the days pass— Stephen Dobyns, Pursuit [NOTE: I want to preface this post with an acknowledgement of the incredible luck of my circumstances in life. As a Cis Straight White Male1 I get to play the game of life on the lowest difficulty level and while I have done a few things to get where I am, so much of it is chance, both in the moment and in my place in history.] Good news. I am quitting one of my habits. I will no longer be applying for a job every day (this has been true for about three weeks now, once I knew some offers would be coming I stopped applying.) On Monday last week I accepted a new job. It is very similar work to what I am doing right now, but for a company that is a “leading provider of sustainable engineering, architecture, construction and consulting solutions to the global life sciences and food & beverage industries.” Which is different than a bank, but my expertise works at most companies… No comments yet.
