The phrase ‘Flaming June’ definitely applied here, and like many I have been suffering in the heat (I’m a spring and autumn gal myself…) There’s also been lots of stuff going on with an Ageing Relative and so frankly I have needed the solace and escape of books. It has been a mostly good month for reading, however, and here is a pile of the relevant volumes: As always, here is a list of titles in case the spines are not clear, and I’ve added after the details a number – this is to keep a tally of my 20 Books of Summer reading.
