Book of the Month: June 2026 0 ▲ crossexaminingcrime 2 hours ago · Writing · hide · 0 comments June has been a bit of a slow reading month for me. The hot weather has certainly not helped. On the plus side though I had a great time at the 11th Bodies in the Library conference and it was fun catching up with my GAD friends. Although most of my posts this month were reviews, I also published a post on oxalic acid poison mysteries, and I really appreciated the extra examples blog readers uncovered for me. Another first for the blog in June was a review for a crime novel written by a beauty editor for Vogue magazine. The novel was Measured for Murder (1944) by Babs Lee. The initial and final setting is a fashion house, and a piece of clothing is intrinsic to one of the crimes. No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
