I have to run further and further in Framingham to find new streets, unless Kira and I drive over to Saxonville. I have managed to do a run everyday for 99 days with a total distance of 316 miles with runs in five different states – mostly in Massachusetts (68), but a good chunk of them in California (21). I did six in Saint Paul, Minnesota, three runs in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and one in Maumee, Ohio. Doing 100 days of running is a pretty stupid way to train, but it was very effective for me. I was lucky to avoid any real injury, but partly because I listened to my body when I needed to dial it back a little. This allowed me to dial things back up eventually and I made my speed goals in the end. I haven’t had to wear a knee brace in the last couple weeks. I need to figure out the next thing for running so I don’t lose all my progress, but not sure what that is yet. I am thinking about going back to my goal of running between our apartment and Melanie’s (both along the Marathon Route),…
