Is creating things innate to human nature? Why did the first painter paint? Why did the first writer write? Why did the first sculptor sculpt? Why was the first song created? Whatever the answer may be, I just think its so cool that humans create things. Whether it's to tell a message, to leave a mark on the world, or even out of necessity, every person who creates things is putting a piece of themselves out there to share with others. When people create music, art, prose, or anything else, they draw from their own experiences and inspirations to incorporate into their work. The artist who they take inspiration from also have their own experiences and stories which they've drawn from, and on and on. So when people create things, its as if they're invoking the entire chain of human creativity to pour into their own work, to transform and make something old new again. This cycle continues as new creations will eventually inspire the next generation of artists and creators, adding yet…
