For the majority of folks who haven't heard, let me explain. Polymarket is, in my opinion, an industrial addiction machine (along with its kindred conspirator Kalshi). They allow anyone to place bets on just about anything. It disguises this illegal and unethical business model with comfortable euphemisms. Instead of an online casino, it's a "prediction market." Instead of real money, they use counterfeit currency cryptocurrency. The list goes on and on.If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck in my book. Ladies and gentlemen: a duck.Given the long and storied history of gambling-based business being tied to organized crime (and other corrupt behavior)... we can use this basic heuristic to predict that there will be quite illegal and immoral behavior at the very top of these organizations.
