1st june to 7th june what i did i have put my phone in black&white. i don’t know if i i may have developed a sort of photophobia, or if the “false world” of the phone has finally overwhelmed me, but i am much happier without colour. a week of hell-days: days in which i must balance job (not work) and an excess of home-preparation responsibilities. several days this week were chock-full of things to do, and the biggest part has been organising and purging in anticipation of incoming family.1 i realised i am apprehensive to engage with time-travel narratives, since many of them don’t go full chort. there are many narrative consequences to time travel, ones which get largely ignored for their complexity-slash-difficulty, which could be utterly fascinating if explored thoroughly, but most of the time it seems to simply become isekai.2 what i readwhat i’m looking forward to getting back to work on ｢lupercal,｣ which has sat untouched since this madness began. cleaning day! after all the…
