week 25 2026

15th june to 21st june it has been just wild here. family has arrived (yay!) and my house is in chaos. i’ve been listening pretty much nonstop to this DJ set, much to my satisfaction and my family’s chagrin. what i did i worked pretty much all last week on a time-travel one-shot that’s been annoying me for the better part of two years inbetween tasks and duties. however, i wrote myself into a wall, and i’m not sure how to proceed. and then got myself out of having written myself into a wall, and the wordcount is now ~35k. With no end in sight!1 adventures in plumbing, never-ending and ceaseless. one must imagine sisyphus happy, etc.2 however, now the “crunch” is over and i am adrift. i don’t quite know what to do with myself. i’ve taken up a bit of study, but might end up switching from work on ｢lupercal｣ back to ｢firmament｣ or even, dare i say, ｢marshes｣? i finished the prompts for next month’s WCC in basically one sitting, because the theme suggested by Branka was so exciting! i got…
