Eyes Were Blur But Now They See

What I’m about to share will age me. And while a new development with my health isn’t really good, I somehow feel like I’ve advanced or graduated to more maturity. Maybe it’s like I earned a merit badge? Weird. Well, Friday I found confirmation & relief in the discovery of READERS! I could hardly believe my eyes — I could see clearly through reading glasses. Folks, it’s like watching a VHS tape & then jumping straight to Full-HD! No more blurry text. No more bleary eyes. No more strain & squinting. Even my food is vivid & sharp looking. I can see details. It was really amazing, being able to see so clearly & easily. I didn’t even think to check the price of the readers at the store. I had to keep them, a no-brainer purchase. One downside: I look like an old guy, peering over the top of my glasses. Oh well. Small price to pay for 20/20 vision. So yeah, besides sunglasses, I now have reading glasses in my EDC bag. It’s a part of life. I’m thankful for my health. And for health aids. See…
