New York panel video is now online 0 ▲ Sutter’s Mill 1 hour ago · Culture · hide · 0 comments Four weeks ago I was in downtown Manhattan for the world premiere event for C++: The Documentary. It was great to see two theaters full of enthusiastic C++ developers, and getting to mingle with them all before and after the film. Afterwards we have a live panel Bjarne Stroustrup, Gabriel Dos Reis, Nina Ranns, Eric Lubin, and me; Matt Godbolt (yes, the Matt Godbolt) was our moderator. The video is now on YouTube. I think this is one of the best panels I’ve ever participated in, thanks to Matt’s great questions and direction, and the concise and insightful comments from all the panelists. I think each of us only gave one (or maybe two) three-minute answers… the others were all under two minutes which kept things moving very nicely. Thanks again to Matt, the panelists, everyone in the crowd of folks who came to see the documentary, CultRepo and HRT who made the documentary! And thanks most of all to Bjarne Stroustrup, who is the reason we’re all here and writing high-level… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
