Week 26 of 2026

Had a better time at basketball on Monday. It was a fairly low bar, so after a made a lay-up off the first possession I'd already surpassed my own expectations. Was slightly concerned that the sports hall might have been a furnace with high temperatures throughout the day but there was a very pleasant cross wind created with all the doors open. I also had Monday off work, but didn't really make the most of it. I had one job to do that required waiting for a phone call, and so I waited nearly all day for it without doing much else. There was an awful lot of things that I could have done had I known how long I would have been waiting for. The weather was hot all week. The temperature in my home office was uncomfortable, but the temperature of the bedroom in the loft extension was sickening. Incredibly difficult to fall asleep when fans are only able to circulate hot air, so not surprising that I got increasingly grumpier as the week progressed. I bought my ticket for FFConf. Easiest…
