Week 296: Lebanese

It’s such an incredibly dull thing to have to comment on but holy fuck has it been hot. Our flat can handle a day or two of heat but by day three it’s a difficult-to-cool furnace. Our lads have been melting, I’m glad it’s a little cooler. Very little else has happened. I made it to the office for some nice air con on Thursday and managed a reasonable number of drinks. On Friday we popped over to J&C’s with a few other friends and sat on their balcony. I’ve been continuing to overplan my D&D campaign, busy fleshing out the way that the Peerage operates in my world and fleshing out a few of the noble houses. I’m floundering slightly on the details of the main plot, the broad plan is there but every time I try to go into the specifics I end up distracting myself with more world building. Oh well, we’ll get there. Our favourite Lebanese place has closed down which is a real shame. We’ve been trying others nearby and none spark quite as much joy.
