I was fortunate enough to grow up through the attitude era of the WWE (WWF at the time) and that was likely the hottest wrestling is ever likely to be. Since then, I've checked in and out of wrestling throughout the years. AEW coming onto the scene had me for a short while, but then the lack of compelling stories and nonsensical booking pushed me away and WWE seems to be in one of the biggest slumps I've ever known. That said, there are some bright spots; Sami Zayn and Oba Femi in WWE and I do hope Will Ospreay gets to the top of AEW. But other than that, it's such a chore to watch these shows. Perhaps there is a small sense of exhaustion with how many wrestling shows are available or whether it is because there seems to be a lack of consistency from AEW and sheer greed from the WWE. I was going to get involved in the conversations across the web about these shows, but the fans are awful and so, I was completely put off from that.
