I like his writing, I like his message and the way that he packages it up into things I can relate to without merely confirming my existing beliefs. Over the past few years I’ve read and appreciated his words enough that it was fair to pay. His weekly column “How to …” is a clever way of disguising his reflections on life behind the typical headline of an advice column. Spoiler alert: It’s not really an advice column … and in a way it is, but much broader. This week’s edition resonated so much: Over the last few years I’ve managed to carve out a “way of dealing with all the shit” that’s mostly worked.
