The new translation of Leopoldina Fortunati’s “The Arcana of Reproduction: Housewives, Prostitutes, Workers and Capital”

The Arcana of Reproduction More to say on this soon as it is invaluable for the book I am working on and is so much more than the old Autnomedia version (alas, Italian was beyond me, I am guilty for not looking up the original). The new trans is like a whole new book, especially the last few chapters. Maybe its the joy of memory loss, but i don’t recall much of this level of specificity. Also, looking at the first of my old copies, some idiot underlined all the wrong parts :) (me). The update section to 2025 is crucial. I think we can never be quite finished with it, and sure can some critiques of the earlier continuist “Grundrisse”-inflected parts, but its certainly one of the major books of the late 20th century so must be discussed all over again now English readers can access the full thing.
