Going More Analog

This post will be short. I’m drafting it by hand — pen & paper! The ink is “Energel” by Pentel (made in Japan). And of course it’s orange. I’ve tried different orange ink pens; this one is a good one. Anyways, I recently shared that I was leaning toward going analog with my text data. At first, I meant to try private journaling by hand. Well, now I’m trying all text by hand (like blog drafts). This is challenging & is taking adjustment. The likelihood1 that I stick with it is…up for debate. There are benefits to handwriting the I’m aiming for. One is that it helps me be more physically offline and off my phone. It’s also a slower & more tangible process, which should improve my thinking “muscles.” For now, I’m still in the transition, so it’s a bit of a struggle. The fun part is trying new pens, planners, papers, notebooks, etc. My current main one is the same that I used two years ago — TUL. It’s sold at Office Max.
