Day 134: Bonnets Up

2026-06-20Back at the car show...Hello!I'm writing short articles to accompany previous photos that I thought should have been included on this website anyway. I've got a massive backlog on my computer of both recent and old files that I need to tread through, and this time away from taking photos will hopefully be the time I need to sort through my digital folders.This isn't a monochrome image. Instead, I turned it to black and white and enabled a split toning feature that seems to add two colors: one to the highlights, one to the shadows. One can calibrate which colors to use and to what saturation, and I found it an interesting and creative idea. Another one to add to my bag of tricks as a photographer.Finally, science! Golf carts and battery-powered lift vehicles (like forklifts or scissor lifts) are getting retrofit with more efficient batteries that are based on entirely different chemistries.
