Boat Refurbishment Volunteer Weekend Plan

Goal: We need a long weekend where volunteers can camp down here and get on with the next stage of boat work – to make the sea voyage test possible. STAGE 01 – Core Repairs & Systems 1. Back Deck Structure Structure is ready. Use an angle grinder to cut slots in the strengthening sleeves. Push sleeves into place. Rope the existing scarf board onto the top as a temporary surface fix. Add strengthening: Bottom prop. Link wire structure back to roof (needs checking – maybe a roof brace/rig?). Pod / Motor System Work out pod motor mounts. Plan wiring and installation. Order parts after mounting position is confirmed. 2. Boat Clear Out & Water Mission Preparation Empty boat. Raise tarp lean-to, so junk can be stored properly. Pack rubbish. Water System Finish water installation: Adapters. Taps. Sink. Drains. Through-hulls. Trip Go to Abingdon for: Water mission. Rubbish disposal. 3.
