Non-Influential Behaviors

Living in Austin and being outside downtown a lot, you see a lot of ridiculous influencer behavior. The thing that always surprises me is that they do not like you watching them record stuff. It’s awkward. They feel awkward. And it just seems super duper highly ironic that it’s almost understood that it’s rude to watch an influencer make content. LOL's They are smiley, they are fun, they’re effervescent. But also super duper grumpy. How does this translate to a music blog, do you ask? Because there’s a real need to get your thing out there. And I’m thinking about it all the time. For DJ stuff, I have a current backlog of “do video stuff,” meaning people have asked me for some example videos, and I flat out don’t have it. I’m going to have to make something. But I don’t like video myself, and I don’t get videoed. Typically, I’m at a party where schizz is going down that’s more interesting than watching a DJ. (Which couldn’t be any more boring) Just look at festivals and the light shows…
