2026 Week 26 Digest

I am still sick, still watching soccer, reading some more mysteries, and playing Zelda. I am STILL SICK and I am NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT. I felt like I had to take Mon and Tues off work, but really didn't want to take too many days and develop a reputation for unreliability. So I went in Wed and had a reasonably okay time, but definitely felt the fatigue setting in towards the end. But I'm committed to work Thus/Fri/Sat and then Mon/Tues/Wed with Wednesday being Canada Day. As of writing (Thurs) it is Day 11 of this sinus/chest cold and I am reminded of when I caught covid from my roommate for the first time back in 2021 (not her fault) and she was sick for a week and I was sick for over two weeks. If you are sick and must be out in public please wear a fucking mask and carry hand sanitizer. The number of people I heard wet coughing while I was at work, also sick, is a bit frustrating.
