photography club

last night was the meeting for (aparantly one of) the photograhy club in the nearest rural city. Fourtunately I managed to get into town and met up with everyone. And wow are they all soo cool. Theres maybe 10 camera nerds who show up to the library every month and nerd about cameras and photography. Most of them are older, I am the youngest and the second youngest person is 44. But I had a great time meeting all the people and talking and doing some photography in the dark meeting room at the library they had booked. There is usually a theme at each formal meeting, this time was intentional camera movement(ICM), or shutter drag, or tracking shots, or motion blur, or long exposures. those are mostly different things but we tried all of them. Most people in the club have or had a career in local media, a fair few of them actually coworkers for the regional paper. And I just had a great time, I am going to get out and meet people more
