The first recording today is Pokemon: Battle Frontier – Weekend Warrior. The start is missing, so we find a man competing in a pokemon contest, and his wife and child didn’t know he would be there, and don’t approve of him doing this. She says he should “Forget these foolish kid games” and he starts defending his choice. “You don’t get it! A contest is the result of hours of training between a coordinator and Pokemon. Hundreds upon thousands of hours. When a performance goes well and you see the look of happiness and joy on the faces of the fans, well, there’s a sense of accomplishment that no words can ever come close to expressing.” He apologises to the fans and judges, then gets a huge round of applause, and a judge asks him to finish his performance for the fans. He ends up in the final, and has to face May. After a very close match, May just wins, and gets the silver ribbon. Jeremy’s family seem to have a bit more respect for him after his performance.
