Going Quiet
Since losing interest in a lot of the things I used to be into, I've not really been posting to social media. The circles I moved in and the people I followed were nearly all tech people, and micro.blog tends to be very nerdy and skewed in that direction, which is mostly down to the way the platform is built.I would check in and often wouldn't find much going on, so over the last couple of weeks I've deleted most of my posts, unfollowed everyone and logged out. There's nothing wrong with the place. I just got fed up of checking in so often and finding almost nothing to read.There's always a certain level of FOMO when you do that, a worry that you'll miss something just as you step away. I get a lot of support from the lovely people I've met over the years, and I do miss 'talking' to them.One of the most noticeable things is that engagement isn't what it used to be. Social media seems to have become more passive as the years go one, or perhaps I am less interesting. I notice people…
