Night falls, spreads. A woman with dark hair and dark eyes opens the door to the last room she will occupy and walks through it. She turns on the light, which glows a soft yellow overhead. She sits on the bed and pulls the gun out of her bag. It lies on her lap like a sleeping cat.The woman with dark hair lifts the gun with her right hand. She levels the barrel at her right temple.
