Hi y'all, I kicked off summer with a long flight to Aberdeen. Now, I am studying Thermodynamics among Harry-Potter-like castles and walking to class in dukes-and-duchess walkways. I arrived yesterday, and I am now wrapping up my first day of actual studying. Here are some photos. Seaton Park, Old Aberdeen The chapel Boy splitting apple statue in front of King's College It was a long journey from Houston to Aberdeen. I landed in the late afternoon, spent some time exploring the area, and got myself a little Scottish treat in a nearby pub. I ordered some sausages with mashed potatoes, peas, and gravy. It was lovely1. I also ordered tea. My American mind thought it was a cup of tea with a tea bag. I was wrong. The lady brought out a tea set: a nice cup with a saucer, a teapot, milk in a fancy cup, a separate tea bag, assorted sugars, and two courtesy Biscoff biscuits. My American mind was totally blown.
