Week In Review 2026-05-08

This weekly update covers Sunday 05-03-26 through Friday 05-08-26 (an icon Glossary, if needed). LIFE 🈁 Continuing on from last week’s theme about deadlines adding clarity to life, as there was no getting around the hard stop on Friday 05-08. L. & I are going to New Mexico, no matter what happened in our work or personal lives. 📕 I’m finally getting prices for burying my mother’s cremains, including a new tombstone to replace what’s in the ground now. The overall total is currently in the $2500-2700 range, which is far less than I had feared. Even an imprecise dollar figure is helping to ease my worries about the overall process. 📜 The vacation means a slight change in publishing my Week In Review, as this will go live around the time we are landing in Albuquerque. The following WIP will be a recap of the vacation, so it may come out sometime after Sunday 05-17.
