be a tourist in your own country

you don't have to travel too far if you're looking to switch things up. be a tourist in your own country. i'm a lover of travel. i'm trying to visit as many countries as i can but unfortunately i'm not in a position right now to do so, so i've put a pin in it for now. but that doesn't mean i can't travel. two friends and i took the bus to edinburgh, the capital & city in scotland. we arrived outside a church that just happened to be having a massive book sale. when i say massive, i mean massive. every pew was filled with books on the ground level, upstairs, downstairs and a whole bunch of tables outside. they truly had it all. this was an absolute treat for us. i picked up two john steinbeck books: cannery row and the grapes of wrath. museums were next on the agenda. we visited the national gallery, museum of childhood and national museum of scotland. all free! i didn't realise how many free activities there were in the capital :) in between we did a lot of window shopping and…
