The last Korean review I did involved a spicy and sweet noodle served hot I kind of think might have been better cold. Well, here’s a cold noodle. Sounds good – let’s check it out! To prepare, boil noodles in 500ml water for 2 minutes. Rinse with cold water. Take sachets and add to 180ml cold water and stir. Finally, combine and enjoy! A pouch of buckwheat noodle. A liquid base sachet. A freeze dried block of radish. Finished (click to enlarge). Added fishcake, sesame seed, scallion, and shichimi. Noodle has a nice gauge and mellow chewiness which I enjoyed. The cold adds a little extra tension as well. The broth has a nice kind of zaru soba hit to it – fish, wasabi and other notes in there. The radish bits were very welcome too.
