AAA left me stranded

If you’re in the USA chances are you’ve heard of AAA – the American Automobile Association. It’s a $60 or so yearly membership and includes some travel discounts, trip-tiks/maps, and other things the internet pretty much have made obsolete. It also includes towing and roadside assistance, which is the only reason I still had it. TL;DR – just a story you have all the info you need in the title of Yesterday was Father’s Day in the US. A day that pretty much means you get a card and maybe go out to dinner. Not a huge event and nothing other than maybe a mild increase in people going to restaurants. Me – I’m dropping my kids off at a camp 30+ miles from my house when the “did not expect that to happen” happens: my door fell off and wedged itself in the back tire. Now, I carry a lot of tools regularly, but I was not packing off sized hex key heads and something to hold a door up that was only not on the ground because it was in my tire.
