Pettiness exists for peace

I used to think being mature, and being a grown up means you accept things the way they are by being understanding. No one told me being a grown up actually meant accepting how petty you are so it’s easy for you to drop someone from your contact list because they didn’t pronounce your name right. In my teenage years, if I heard someone would make something bigger than it is, I would probably tell them to “grow up.” But now, I’d laugh it off. Maybe I fight petty with petty to see how it goes. Allowing yourself to be petty is for your peace. Just don’t forget to laugh at yourself once you’ve calmed the anger down.
