Earl and I decided to check out the university area for happy hour this evening. School has been out of session for about a month, but we thought there’d be some folks milling about the Main Gate area near of U of A. It ended up being a bit quiet, but we stopped at a place called Gentle Ben’s. We shared a plate of nachos, I had a beer and Earl had a cocktail. We enjoyed the happy hour prices. Folks started showing up for the World Cup just as we were wrapping up our experience, so we made room at the bar for those that were interested in the game. It was a pleasant experience, if a little quiet. Not a lot happens outdoors here in the desert during the months of June through September, at least not during the hours with sunlight. We’re always looking for things to do. I’m on my 15th year of working from home and I think it’s starting to wear on me a little bit. We’re trying to get out a little bit more so I don’t go stir crazy. We live in a beautiful home, but sometimes I need to see…
