It was the Northern Solstice last night. Did you notice? There were only 4 hours of ‘night’, and yesterday was the Longest Day. Which means it’s all downhill from here until my favourite season —Autumn— before we plunge into cold wet Winter. I believe there are still some warm days ahead though and, once again, I am thankful I don’t live in the South of England because I do not envy anyone having to go about their day to day in that kind of heat. That’s HOLIDAY heat, not WORKING heat. Anyway, enough about the climate change conspiracies… Elsewhere, My mind has been on flags and why some inspire and some repulse, thoughts NOT prompted by the World Cup at all, honest. I’ve signed up to Crucial Tracks which could be fun. I’m waiting on new trainers arriving so I can get started on Couch to 5K this week. Yesterday, after a day in the garden, both gardenING, and playing with my son, I decided NOT to do an official/logged workout. Breaks my 30 day streak but that’s ok, it’s not about the…
