istanbul is a very crowded city, and it is also expensive. there are many unattractive buildings, and people can sometimes be rude on public transport. however, there are many beautiful things to discover too if you intentionally look for them. you could even say they are endless, especially if you explore its historical side. as a freelancer, i like finding places where i can work in peace. i found this one last week: it is a pier. it has a view of the bosphorus, and tea is only 15 turkish lira. sometimes, the best spots in the city are the quiet ones hiding in plain sight. |
