Shortly after hitting publish on my post wondering what happened to her, I looked outside and spotted Miss Calico hanging out in my campsite. It made me wonder if she knew she was being talked about. She hung around for a few days. Then she disappeared for a couple of days. And tonight, she’s back to sleeping on my deck. This seems to be her regular thing… staying a while, leaving without notice, and re-appearing as if nothing out of the ordinary happened.
